Hidden Treasures for the Son

This is not a letter to my Confidante but more my imagination and biology past.

I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. (Psalm 2:7, 8, AMP)

Jesus as a teenager is probably working on His carpentry skills to please His Joseph-dad and a whisper wafts into the ear of His heart. “This day i declare I have begotten You and You are My precious Son.” He Loved His Son, the darling of heaven, and had begotten Him through one willing heart of a teenage girl. Jesus was close enough to God that He understood what His Father really meant. He had begun to realize there was something different about Him. He could do small acts of kindness for people by creating what they needed spontaneously. He carefully kept it a secret. Only His mom and Joseph-dad were aware.

He was to ask His Father and the nations would be His inheritance. And every part of the earth, every crevice a flower hides in would be His.

There exists deep, hidden in a forest birds with bright colors and mystically shaped feathers. They dance and seem to have learned graceful yoga. In another island are huge turtles, reptiles that seem like tiny dinosaurs, graceful seals, cutest birds with blue webbed feet. They each are a gem God created.

All of this belongs to Jesus for the asking. The tempting dilemma came when in the wilderness Satan offered this same beauty and mystique if Jesus would just worship the evil one. It went down like this, “Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [just once], it shall all be Yours. And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve” (Luke 4:5-8 AMP)

So if Jesus desires and asks for the uttermost parts of the earth He’ll get it the clean, pure, powerful way by requesting them from God. And he circumvents darkness, guilt and losing desperate us.
