Ministers of Mercy

[It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of the letter (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive. (2 Corinthians 3:6 AMP)

We have Ministers, Preachers, Pastors etc. who are dedicated to be leaders 24/7 that are available to study God’s word and lead us in it. The unusual concept in these words of Scripture is that we are each Ministers, 24/7. We are Ministers of Grace. If we teach that every detail in the Law is to be unemotionally obeyed without Love, a code that causes lifeless belief. But If we teach the Law with the Spiritual meaning behind it, the grace, the mercy, the cross and His deep love we have a Law that we obey and gives us precious, meaningful life.Image

There’s a class in Science that teaches Anatomy and Physiology.. Anatomy is all the names of the bones and the muscles of the body. It’s very important to identify the parts that are diseased or need removal. I love Physiology with all the reasons behind our illnesses, e.g. the natural, normal way for a stomach to work, the workings of the many minute parts of a cell. But to use and learn Physiology you need Anatomy. Same with the Law. It’s very important to explain it in grace and mercy but without the details of what we should do and how we behave we stumble with out direction and meaning.
